INCLUSIVE
INCLUSIVE – glass sculpture highlights multiculturalism and polyphony as a resource in the community. The sculpture builds a symbolic bridge between different cultures and
combines people with different backrounds. The aim has been to create a sculpture that exudes the strength we can achive together. I invited representatives of minority cultures living in Finland to my home in Fiskars village. All share a dream of a permanent home in Finland. We spent an afternoon together
talking about identities. The workshop was based on natural stones that was painted white. I asked the group to paint their story on the stones. My aim was to transfer these stories to the freeblown glass objects.
