Camilla Moberg is a Finnish industrial designer who focuses
on designing in glass. Her designs are functional and charac-
terised by clean shapes, strong colours and clear glass. Her
collection is made up of both unique pieces and smaller se-
ries of products; vases, candle sticks, oval and round bowls,
large plates, wine glasses, drinking glasses, ceiling and table
lamps. Though her designs are beautiful pieces of art as
such they may be considered as objects for everyday use.
Together with talented glassblowers she further develops her
products. Most of her work has been made at Nuutajärvi by
Finland´s best known blowers as for example Unto Suominen,
Timo Niekka, Reima Maaronen and Kari Alakoski. The pro-
ducts are hand made.
Camilla Moberg lives in the old beautiful village of Fiskars.
Her products are sold at the Onoma gallery shop and in her
resently opened own gallery Sirius in Fiskars, at Design Forum
and at Stockmann`s department store in Helsinki. Her glass
designs have been exhibited in Scandinavia, Russia, in all of
the Baltic states, in Belgium, Holland, Spain, Portugal, the
U.K, France, Germany, South Korea, Japan, USA and Mexico
